Refund Policy
Effective April 28, 2026
We try to make billing simple and predictable.
How cancellation works
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. No phone calls, no retention questionnaires, no email-only escape hatch.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Until then, you keep full access to the dashboard and continue to receive digest emails (unless you also pause them under Notifications).
- You will not be charged again after the cancellation effective date.
What we do not refund
- Partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, the remaining days of the current month are not pro-rated or refunded. Cancellation simply prevents the next charge.
- Months you did not actively use. A subscription is access; whether you opened a digest in a given month does not create a refund obligation.
- Charges you forgot about. The dashboard shows your billing date and a one-click cancellation. We do not refund months that elapsed before you noticed.
What we always refund
- Duplicate charges caused by a billing system error.
- Charges after a successful cancellation — if a renewal hits after you cancelled.
- Charges to a stolen card reported through your card issuer’s standard fraud process. (We work with Stripe to resolve these promptly.)
Free trials
New accounts may begin with a 14-day free trial. We require a payment method at signup so the subscription can begin automatically when the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge is made and your account closes at the trial’s end. If you do not cancel, your card is charged for the first month at the rate shown on your plan page.
Annual prepayments & team plans
We currently do not offer annual prepayment. If we add it in the future, it will be pro-rated on cancellation, and that change will be reflected here.
Chargebacks
Please email billing@ultraria.com before disputing a charge with your card issuer. Most disputes are resolved by us refunding the charge directly within one business day. Chargebacks issued in bad faith or after we have already issued a refund may result in account suspension.
How to request a refund
Email billing@ultraria.com from the address on your account, with the order number or last 4 of your payment card. We respond within one business day. Approved refunds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
